The Marantz PMD660 is a compact bodied, full-scale digital recorder. It is designed entirely for professionals and includes and XLR microphone input with phantom power and up to 20dB attenuation.

Marantz Professional unveils a small, portable recorder, the PMD660. This solid state recorder can record audio files to affordable and widely available Microdrives or CompactFlash cards with just the flip of a switch. Features include non-stop recording with 4 hours of battery life, and an EDL marking system for creating new files on-the-fly during recording for easy file selection during playback.

Marantz toont nieuwe MPM-serie microfoons

Marantz is al sinds jaar en dag een grote speler in het high-end audiosegment. Vroeger vooral bekend in de hi-fi-wereld, maar op den duur begaf Marantz zich meer en meer op het pro-audio pad. Microfoons is natuurlijk een tak die hierbinnen valt en met de MPM-2000 en 3000 grootmembraan condensatormicrofoons heeft Marantz een tweetal fraaie microfoons uitgebracht dat de toetreders van de pro-audio moet gaan bedienen.

Marantz lanceert ribbon-microfoon en boompoles

Marantz richt zich sinds een aantal jaar op het pro audio segment en dit heeft geleid tot een aantal bijzonder interessante producten. Hieronder valt dan ook zeker de nieuwe MPM-3500R ribbon microfoon en een viertal hengelstatieven uit de Audio Scope-serie, te weten, de B9, B9C, B11 en B11C. De c-aanduiding in deze serie staat in dit geval voor de geïntegreerde XLR-kabel vande boom poles.
